The laptop comes in charcoal black. This isn’t black but more of a darker shade of grey. The textured polish of the lid gives it a nice look. The insides are normal with the black keyboard. The keys are well spaced and there is also a dedicated number pad.

The power button is so close to other keys so if aren’t careful you are going to get annoyed. The trackpad is standard stuff and nothing special. At 5.3 pounds, you can call this laptop a travel companion. With a decent battery life, you can easily take this out when you are traveling.

The hard drive storage capacity is 1TB. There is ample storage to play with and you can load anything without any restriction. The operating speed, however, is only 5400RPM. Though an average user won’t be able to tell the difference, they still could have included a solid state drive.

The operating system you get pre-installed here is Windows 8.1. This is a very good operating system for those who are used to the tiles. But Windows 10 is here and you can upgrade to it for free for the first year. With all the raving reviews, this new OS is definitely worth an upgrade.

There are 2 inbuilt speakers. Acer’s true harmony high-performance sound system does a good job. The output is decent and you can go with it if you are not an audiophile.

With a 5-hour battery life in place, you can take this out for a decent amount of time. If you are going to stay the whole day out, then be sure to find a power outlet.

The connectivity in this Acer Aspire E 15 E5-573G-57HR model consists of a Bluetooth 4.0 and an 802.11a/c wireless connectivity. There are a couple of USB 3.0 ports out of which one support power-off charging. There is also a single USB 2.0 port and also a media card reader.
