Acer has done better design. They have tried to provide a laptop with all the right specs at a decent price. So they have to cut corners on something, and the build is what it looks like. The build is not great. It comes in a grey that is okay but not super impressive.
They have retained the other elements from the Aspire series in the design. You can a decent keyboard, but it does have any backlights. The trackpad is also responsive and nothing much to say there as well. With dimensions of 15.02 x 1 x 10.08 inches, the laptop weighs 5.3 pounds that is normal for a laptop this size.
Though not super portable, it still is a winning design in our opinion.
Acer Laptop Aspire E5-573G-56RG Specs
The hardware is where this laptop gets all the good grades. It makes up for the external build quality and brings a lot of good things to the mid-range user in this budget.
You get a 15.6-inch LED-backlit Full HD display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The picture quality is brilliant, and it is something you will enjoy over a long period. The viewing angle is also impressive which means you rejoice with your friends watching your favorite movies and series.
This is also a widescreen display. By that, you can open two windows side by side and work one them simultaneously. This is great for productivity and the specs inside can makes things only better.
There is a pretty powerful processor under the hood. We have an Intel Core i5 chip that powers this Acer Laptop Aspire E5-573G-56RG laptop. This i5 5200U comes with a clocking frequency of 2.20GHz that can be upped to a maximum of 2.70GHz when the need arises, thanks to the turbo boost technology.
This is a pretty handy processor and does almost anything you want. It is perfect for your everyday tasks like browsing, streaming videos, playing games and other stuff. If you are someone who needs a bit of power to run mid-range apps like Photoshop and other applications, this chip is good for that as well.
The memory department has complimented the processor in a neat manner. There are eight gigs of DDR3 RAM, and that should be good enough for most of us. There is also an extra RAM slot and that allows you to extend the memory by another 16GB.
The next thing we’re going to see in this Acer Laptop Aspire E5-573G-56RG review is the graphics card. You get a Nvidia GeForce GTX 940M graphics card with a dedicated memory of 4GB DDR3 type. This is a mid-range offering from Nvidia and does a decent job in running most of the games.
You can run most of the games without any problem. If you want to run the very best and the latest, then you will have to reduce the settings to the lowest one. Only then you will get a decent frame rate to play on. Rendering graphics is never a problem, so don’t worry about graphics outside gaming.
If you are wondering about your storage options, there is a lot of space on the 1TB hard drive. It is not speedy but gives you a lot of space to play with. We do recommend to backup the most important data in the cloud as it adds an extra layer of protection for your files.
The operating system plays a significant role in the usability of a laptop. Here, you get Windows 10 home edition pre-installed in your notebook. This is the latest version of Windows and has been adopted by a lot of people all over the world. If you were a fan of Windows 7, you’d love this.
Battery life in the Acer Laptop Aspire E5-573G-56RG laptop is kind of a standard show. It can last about 4 to 5 hours for regular usage. You can dim down the brightness and optimize the settings more to get a better battery performance.
You can find all the essential ports in the notebook including the USB 3.0, HDMI and Ethernet port. There is also support for both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which is neat.
