The ASUS M11BB-US009S model has a pretty classic design. It has the traditional box type cabinet. There are a few ports in the front which are easily accessible. The remaining ports can be found at the back.

The ventilation can be found on the left side and this should be enough to keep things cool. The desktop is not very light at 20 pounds. So don’t plan to move it often as that should involve a lot of work.

Overall, it is a regular design for a desktop computer and nothing new. But it takes the idea of function over form seriously and does just that.

The first thing to note here is that there is no monitor here. Either you should get one yourself or you should already have one in your hands. If you plan to get one, take a look at our monitors section to get an idea.

The ASUS M11BB-US009S desktop computer is powered by an AMD A8 6500 processor. This quad-core processor comes with a clocking frequency of 3.5GHz which is a good speed. This is a pretty decent choice for a processor as it can run the OS and other applications without much of an issue. You can work on your office documents; run large applications like Photoshop and also video editing ones.

The memory department comes with an 8GB DDR3 RAM. This is a good amount of memory by modern day standards. It allows you to multitask freely without creating any issues in the performance side of things.

ASUS M11BB-US009S desktopYou can also increase the memory in the future when you need to. This upgradeability is one of the advantages of getting a desktop as a laptop would have limited options.

The 1TB 7200RPM SATA hard drive comes with a huge amount of free space. This should be enough for a light to mid-range user. The operating speed is also the best for a SATA drive which allows you to open the applications fasters as well.

The operating system here is Windows 8. It is a very good operating system for those who seek something modern in terms of looks. The operating system had mixed reviews but it really is a step forward and helps you achieve more in a shorter time.

You can also upgrade to Windows 10 for free for the first year as you are a genuine user. This will give you access to a number of features in the new operating system.

The integrated Radeon graphics card is the GPU here. This is not a gaming machine. You can only do casual gaming and if you have something heavy in your mind, then this isn’t the right choice. Graphic rendering, however, is pretty good.

There are 6 USB 2.0 ports and a couple of USB 3.0 ports which can be very useful. There is a DVD writer can read and write DVDs when you want to. This is a fading feature as a lot of modern machines don’t include an optical drive.

ASUS M11BB-US009S Review: Verdict

That’s pretty much everything you need to know about this desktop. We hope this review gave you some good insights about what this machine is capable of. If you are looking for a decent mid-range desktop that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket, then this is a good choice.
